I stopped at Fuego Street Grill on a recent visit to Copenhagen and ordered the beef sandwich—without exaggeration, it was the best sandwich I had during my entire trip, and honestly one of the best I’ve ever eaten anywhere. Sometimes street food promises more than it delivers, but not this place.
The sandwich starts off with steak cooked fresh right on the open grill—no reheated or precooked cuts here. The beef was super tender, juicy, and sliced to the perfect thickness for a sandwich.
Then there’s the sauce. They drizzled it with a rich, vibrant chimichurri that was packed with fresh flavor, and works with the smokiness of the meat to create the sort of bite you just want to slow down and savor. The whole sandwich comes on a crunchy baguette that’s sturdy but not overly chewy.
Visually, the sandwich looks huge—and it is substantial—but it’s extremely well-balanced. I had a few small plates from other food stalls to round out the meal, and the portion size was ideal for sampling more without feeling overstuffed.
Argentina may be halfway around the world from Copenhagen, but somehow, Fuego Street Grill brings that authentic, bold flavor to Denmark.- Måltidstype

We got the pepito sandwich several times and is always a win. Empanadas are good as well, usually you need to wait a bit cause of a long line but I think that speaks really well about the quiality of food. This last time we just got a half pepito for 69kr. Probably the best sandwich in all Copenhagen. Amazing argentine beef and homemade chimichurri sauce. The service is excellent and fast. 100% recommend it.

It was lovely, the staff was nice and the food was made quite openly so you could follow along in your order. Food was delicious!! And we got our order pretty fast after ordering. Very delicious! Would definitely come again and try their other options 😋

Best pepito I have ever had. Unexpected surprise to be honest, to have this experience in Copenhagen. Tender beef in a crunchy baguette with chimichurri. Amazing. The guys are doing a really great job. I was absolutely impressed.

Always nice to try a new place in Reffen. We were craving for some BBQ food, and they fulfilled that easily with that Pepito 👌🏼. That was amazing. Really good and crunchy 🥖, the stuffing was perfect, really nicely balanced and most important, it’s a big portion with a lot of meat 🙏🏻 Thank you for this nice discovery.

Pepito tasted great! Although mixing Black Angus steak meat with mayonnaise seemed a bit unorthodox, the sandwich/hotdog was excellent!
